Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Returns

Please note that in adherence to standard retail practices, Customize Closet reserves the right to refuse returns that fall outside the specified return window or involve items that have been worn, washed, or otherwise deemed to be in a non-resalable condition.

Only the unworn, unwashed, and undamaged items are eligible for a full refund or exchange within 30 days of the purchase date. Exceptions apply to the categories listed below.

To initiate a return, please adhere to the following process:

  1. Contact Customer Service: Email our team at hello@customizecloset.com, providing your order number and reason for return. Then… 
  2. Receive Return Instructions: Await detailed return instructions including the return address from our customer service team. Please note that return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
  3. Ship Your Return: Package the item securely in its original packaging, ensuring all tags are included. Ship the package using a traceable shipping method of your choice.

Please note: A 20% restocking fee will be applied to returned orders exceeding $150 in value.

Exchanges

To exchange an item for a different size or design, please follow the return process outlined above. For the most efficient exchange, we recommend placing a new order for the desired item while simultaneously returning the original item. Upon processing your return, we will issue a full refund for the original order.

Non-returnable and Non-Exchangeable Items

The following items are not eligible for return or exchange:

  • Mugs
  • Beanies and hats
  • Cross-body bags
  • Gift cards

Refund Processing

Upon receipt and inspection of your returned item(s), you will be notified via email. A subsequent email will confirm the approval or rejection of your refund.

Approved refunds will be processed within 5 business days, and a credit will be automatically applied to your original payment method.

IMPORTANT: Order cancellations can only be processed within 30 minutes of order placement.

Delayed or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is shows up.
